Profile
Mohd Amirul Bin Adanan hails from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Universiti Malaya in 2023. Following his graduation, he commenced his pupillage at Messrs. Shahir Khubayb & Co, where he received training in both litigation and corporate practice. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 21 February 2025.
In litigation, his experience includes handling civil and commercial matters such as contractual disputes, fraud and fraudulent trading matters, judicial review applications and probate and administration of estates.
On the corporate side, he has assisted in the drafting and review of a wide range of agreements, from straightforward transactions such as service contracts, collaboration agreements and memorandums of understanding, to complex commercial arrangements, including, operating agreements, share sales and purchase agreements and joint venture agreements.
He remains committed to keep expanding his knowledge and skills in both litigation and corporate. Currently, he is primarily practices as a corporate lawyer at the firm, while also assisting in litigation matters.
