Profile
Tharshana Sivananthan is an associate focusing on civil litigation and dispute resolution. She holds an LL.B (Hons) from Multimedia University, Malacca. After having successfully completed her pupillage under the tutelage of the late Datuk Wong Rhen Yen, she was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 20th of July 2022.
She subsequently began her legal practice at Messrs Chellam Wong, where she was primarily involved in general litigation and liquidation matters.
Thereafter, she joined Messrs Shahir Khubayb & Co where her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation. Her areas of expertise include bankruptcy and insolvency, committal proceedings, civil tort of conspiracy, contractual disputes, defamation and shareholder disputes.
With three (3) years of focused practice, she approaches every case with optimism and a proactive, 'can-do' mindset. She firmly believes that a strong command of the law, combined with a winning mentality, can take you far—both in legal practice and in life.
Beyond the courtroom, she finds balance through tennis and is an avid enthusiast of Formula 1 racing.
