SIVASHANGARY SHREEMA

Sivashangary Shreema, who is from humble beginnings, obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from Multimedia University Melaka in 2020 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia on 22 April 2022.

She embarked on her legal journey as a pupil in chambers, and subsequently a First-Year Associate in Messrs Azri, Lee Swee Seng & Co. from February 2021 till May 2023. Two years in Messrs Azri Lee Swee Seng & Co., she was given the opportunity to manage her own files/portfolio and to assisting the partners of the firm to conduct trials.

Sivashangary is constantly amazed by the legal profession is looking forward to exploring and finding herself while embarking this journey. She strives to bring a positive spirit wherever she goes and is always looking forward to learning from and working with her colleagues. Sivashangary believes in having fun whilst working, and that there is always a form of strategy and lesson to take away even in the simplest task assigned to.

Sivashangary believes that it is a necessity to have a work-life balance to prevent burnouts. For leisure, she catches up with her family and friends, Netflix and/or indulges in self-care to recharge herself and to prepare to face her battles the next working day. Her biggest motivation in life is her grandmother, a cook who dedicated her whole life for her granddaughter to live her best life.

Sivashangary joined Messrs Shahir Khubayb & Co in July 2023 to continue her legal practice.
